Thanksgiving from the Farm: Gratitude, Harvest, and Family Traditions

As the leaves turn and the final pumpkins leave the patch, Thanksgiving reminds us what this season is truly about — gratitude, family, and the beauty of a shared harvest.

At Richfield Farms, fall is more than just our busiest time of year — it’s the heart of what we do. Every apple picked, every mum planted, and every donut served carries a little piece of our family’s story. We’ve been lucky enough to grow alongside our community for generations, and this season, we’re especially thankful for the families who make visiting the farm part of their tradition.

Thanksgiving is our chance to pause and reflect on the abundance around us. From the crisp apples in the orchard to the golden rows of squash, everything on the table started with a seed, sunlight, and care. We see that same care mirrored in the way families gather — to share recipes, tell stories, and make memories that last longer than any harvest.

This year, as you fill your table with fall favorites, we hope a little piece of our farm makes its way there too — whether it’s your pie pumpkins, your apple cider, or simply the spirit of the season.

From all of us at Richfield Farms, thank you for another year of supporting local agriculture and helping us keep these traditions alive.
Wishing you a Thanksgiving full of warmth, gratitude, and good food.
